The origin of toys is prehistoric, Dolls representing infants, animals, and soldiers, as well as representations of tools used by adults are readily found at archaeological sites. Toys and play are an important part of the process of learning about the world and growing up. The young use toys and plays to discover and explore relationships while adults use toys to form and strengthen social bonds, reinforce lessons from their own youth, exercise their minds and bodies. When Nature Calls |
| |
When Nature Calls explores the toilet culture of different countries. The restroom is so dear to us because we use it everyday. Other than serving the community by meeting our basic needs, restrooms also encompass technological marvels. Upon closer observations, it allows us to expand our knowledge and understanding of the culture of a particular country or city based on the way the restrooms are being managed.
Through this project, participants will get to know what it is like to be in a differently–structured restroom with the exchange of experiences and information with their overseas partners. Students will also actively participate in the discussions and develop new initiatives or ideas to improve on the current layout, structures and facilities of restrooms. |
